Reading Order

Dear reader,

Below you can find the reading order of the Adam Lapid books. There are two possible recommended orders: according to book number or according to chronological order. 

It's important to know that The Auschwitz Detective is a prequel and so can be read first.

In nominal book order:

1. Ten Years Gone
2. The Dead Sister
3. The Auschwitz Violinist
4. A Debt of Death
5. A Deadly Act
6. The Unlucky Woman (short story)
7. The Auschwitz Detective (this is a prequel so it may be read first)
8. A Death in Jerusalem
9. In That Sleep of Death
10. The Jewish Policeman

In internal chronological order:

1. The Auschwitz Detective
2. The Jewish Policeman
3. Ten Years Gone
4. The Dead Sister
5. The Auschwitz Violinist
6. A Debt of Death
7. A Deadly Act
8. The Unlucky Woman (short story)
9. A Death in Jerusalem
10. In That Sleep of Death

Many readers of mine have read the books out of order and still enjoyed them.
